Kevin Mims

Kevin Mims has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kevin is currently employed at OnRamp as the Head of Engineering. Prior to this, they worked at Slalom Build as a Principal Architect. Kevin also has experience at Helmerich & Payne, where they held positions such as Sr Product Architect, Product Architect, and Sr Frontend Engineer. Kevin worked at Digital Room, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in full-stack development and responsible for the UI, UX, and backend development. Kevin founded RocketDMS and served as the Lead Developer. Kevin also worked at Tejas Finance as a Vice President and at Koch Supply & Trading as a Quantitative Research Analyst & Trader, responsible for developing algorithmic trading strategies.

From 2006 to 2008, they studied at Wichita State University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics.

In 2005, they attended the Community College of the Air Force and obtained an Associates degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.

Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various areas. In October 2020, they received the AWS Academy Cloud Foundations certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In February 2016, they obtained the SCRUM Master certification from Scrum Alliance. Lastly, in September 2020, they acquired the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, also from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
