Boshu Liao

Boshu Liao has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to software development, architecture, and engineering. Boshu is currently working as a Principal R & D Engineer at OnScale, an Ansys Company, where they are responsible for delivering world-class CAE on next-generation cloud high-performance computing.

Before joining OnScale, Boshu worked at SHL (now Gartner) as a Senior Architect, where they managed a small team and led the development of a J2EE web application to build and publish complex talent assessment content. This resulted in significant process improvement and reduced manpower by 80%.

Prior to their time at SHL, Boshu worked at CEB (now Gartner) as a Senior Architect, where they managed a small team and led the architecture design to split a large SaaS talent assessment platform into two separate platforms, improving scalability and performance.

Boshu also worked at SHL Inc. as a Principal Architect, where they designed and developed the integration of two major SaaS web application systems into a single assessment platform, improving the data model with highly customizable features.

Earlier in their career, Boshu worked at PreVisor Inc. as a Principal Application Architect, where they designed and implemented a large SaaS web assessment platform and led the Java development team. Boshu also worked as a Research Engineer/Software Developer at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Throughout their career, Boshu has demonstrated strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a track record of successfully delivering projects and improving processes.

Boshu Liao received a Ph.D. in Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained additional certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020 and Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in April 2019.
