Lauren Schlenk, MS, RN, DASM

Lauren Schlenk, MS, RN, DASM has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Lauren is currently working as a Sr. Implementation Analyst on the Application Development Life Cycle Team at Ontada, where they conduct training for customers and has been recognized for their positive interactions and initiative. Prior to that, they worked as a Remote Consultant at Overlap Health, where they identified areas for improvement in clinical workflow and integrated patient-generated health data into an EHR. Lauren also served as an ACO/Chronic Care Management Field Case Manager at Millennium Physician Group, where they trained case managers on utilizing EHR platforms and collaborated on the development of a new care plan. In addition, they worked as an Ambulatory Registered Nurse Care Coordinator at Lee Physician Group, providing telephonic case management and developing evidence-based plans of care. Earlier in their career, they were a Nurse Consultant at New Hope of Indiana, providing after-hours on-call assistance and training staff members. Lauren also worked as an RN Charge Nurse at Valle Vista Health Systems, managing the admission process and providing patient care.

Lauren Schlenk, MS, RN, DASM has an extensive education history that spans multiple fields of study. Their most recent educational achievement was obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science from Eastern University, which took place from 2022 to 2023. Before pursuing data science, they also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Health Informatics with a focus on Clinical Informatics from Northwestern University, completed by 2019.

In terms of their undergraduate education, Lauren earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Registered Nursing from ITT Technical Institute in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Lauren has also obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Examples include becoming a Nuance Dragon Medical One Subject Matter Expert from Ontada in February 2021, completing a course in Time Management for Working from Home on LinkedIn in May 2020, and receiving certification in Adult Malnutrition from Abbott Nutrition Health Institute (ANHI) in 2018. Furthermore, they became a Disciplined Agile Scrum Master through the Project Management Institute in November 2022. Lastly, Lauren is a registered nurse with multi-state licensure, obtained from the State of Florida in May 2020.
