Lisa Wohrle

Lisa Wohrle is an experienced professional in the arts sector, currently serving as the Associate Visual Arts and Craft Officer at the Ontario Arts Council since January 2001. In this role, Lisa manages grant programs dedicated to visual arts, craft, and design organizations, as well as individual artists and curators. Lisa previously held a secondment position within the Ontario Arts Council as an Associate Officer in Program Design, where research and development of new market development grant programs for Ontario artists were undertaken. Earlier experience includes roles as Associate Officer for Visual and Media Arts and Craft at Visual Arts Ontario (1989-1990) and Gallery Administrator at Carnegie Gallery in Dundas (1987-1989). Lisa holds an Honours B.A. in Art and Art History from McMaster University, earned between 1983 and 1987.
