Nahed Mansour is a seasoned visual arts professional with extensive experience in curatorial practices and arts management. Currently serving as the Visual Arts Officer at the Ontario Arts Council since April 2024, Nahed previously held key positions such as Senior Manager of Gallery Engagement at the Royal Ontario Museum and Curator of Programs and Education at the Gardiner Museum. An independent curator from 2007 to December 2019, Nahed has curated prominent exhibitions, including "We Look at Animals Because," and has contributed significantly to organizations like the Museum of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada and SAVAC. With a Master's degree in Visual Arts from Concordia University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, Nahed brings a strong academic foundation to a diverse portfolio that emphasizes socially engaged art and the representation of marginalized communities.
