Brian Raymond

Brian Raymond is a seasoned professional in the field of building and planning, currently serving as a Regional Board Member and Treasurer for the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists since June 2023, where responsibilities include chairing the Finance and Audit Committee. In addition to this role, Brian holds the position of Director of Risk-Based Inspections at Tarion since December 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Chief Building Official for the Municipality of Trent Lakes and various positions at the City of Brampton, including Supervisor of Inspections. Additional experience spans a decade as Deputy Chief Building Official for The Corporation of the Town of Cobourg and part-time Infantry Officer with the Canadian Armed Forces. Brian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, a Civil Engineering Technology diploma from Loyalist College, and has completed multiple relevant training programs from AMCTO and other institutions.
