Sylvain Charbonneau

Sylvain Charbonneau has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Sylvain started their career in 1998 at AXA, where they worked as Vice President of Product Development & Pricing for over 13 years. In 2012, they moved to SSQ Groupe financier | Financial Group, where they served as Vice President of Actuarial & Marketing for Individual Insurance and Investment for four years. In 2016, they joined SCOR Global Life Canada as Vice President of Business Development. Sylvain then held executive roles at Quebec Blue Cross and Ontario Blue Cross, serving as Executive Vice President before becoming President & Chief Executive Officer at both companies.

Sylvain Charbonneau obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from Université Laval between 1995 and 1998. Sylvain also holds certifications as a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, which were obtained in 2006 and 2005 respectively.
