Christa Studzinski has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Christa started their career at Human Resources Development Canada as a Web Designer, where they focused on delivering government services through innovative approaches. Christa then worked at the University of Toronto Scarborough as a Teaching Assistant, teaching students research skills and running neuroanatomy labs. Following that, Christa joined CanCog Technologies as a Senior Contract Manager, overseeing research contracts and managing company operations. Christa continued their academic pursuits as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Kentucky and the University of Toronto, conducting research on the link between type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer's disease, as well as studying Parkinson's disease. At the Ontario Brain Institute, Christa held various roles, including Director of Business Development & Partnerships and Manager of Partnerships, Research Programs, and Integrated Discovery Programs. Their responsibilities included developing and managing strategic partnerships, initiating collaborations between researchers and companies, and leading multidisciplinary research projects. Christa Studzinski holds a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto, which they obtained between 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Toronto Scarborough from 1998 to 2002. Christa received their high school diploma from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Garneau between 1993 and 1998.
