Bob Ilmonen is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in engineering and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at UTComp since June 2019, Bob contributes to the strategic growth of the business through collaboration and stakeholder engagement. With a strong background in product development and consulting, Bob also holds a position as an Expert External Reviewer for the Ontario Centre of Innovation, and has mentored entrepreneurs at Innovation Guelph. Previous roles include leadership positions at respected organizations such as Brampton Engineering, Shred-Tech, and Husky Injection Molding Systems, alongside a foundational education in Mechanical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology and advanced management training from the Ivey Business School.
