Hamid Alemohammad, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of Industrial IoT, data analytics, and mechanical engineering. As Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Brickeye since May 2014, Hamid has played a key role in advancing risk mitigation solutions for construction and infrastructure management. Additional contributions include serving as a Member of the College of Reviewers for the Ontario Centre of Innovation and as an instructor for the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers. Hamid's previous roles include managerial positions and technical expertise across various organizations, with notable achievements such as co-inventing a pioneering fiber optic torque sensor technology. An esteemed academic, Hamid has held positions as a lecturer and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Waterloo, holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and has received additional certifications and degrees in engineering from esteemed institutions.
