Carolyn Calwell has extensive work experience in the public sector, primarily in legal and leadership roles. Carolyn is currently serving as the Chief Corporate Services Officer & General Counsel at the Ontario Energy Board since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked at the Ontario Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines as an Assistant Deputy Minister starting from September 2017. Before that, Carolyn held various positions within the Ontario Public Service, including Legal Director, A/Assistant Deputy Minister, and Deputy Legal Director. Their experience in these roles spans from 2010 to 2017.
Carolyn Calwell earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography & Politics from Queen's University in 1995. Following this, they attended York University - Osgoode Hall Law School from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained their Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB).
