Ian Malpass

Ian Malpass has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Ian currently serves as the Vice President of Finance and Information Technology at the Ontario Energy Board. Prior to this, they worked at Hydro One in various roles including Director of Regulatory Affairs, Director of Business Architecture, and Director of Finance. Ian also held the position of Director of the Office of IT at The Loyalty Group and Director of Business Development, Planning, and Program Management at Accenture. Earlier in their career, they worked at Enbridge Gas Distribution and Union Gas in managerial and various other positions with increasing responsibility. Throughout their career, Ian has been involved in finance, regulatory affairs, business architecture, IT, and customer care services in the energy industry.

Ian Malpass has a Master's Certificate in Project Management from York University (1999), a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Strategy from the University of Windsor (1991-1994), a CPA designation (CPA, CGA) from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) (1989-1991), and a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General from the University of Windsor (1981-1985). Ian also obtained the CPA, CGA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario).
