Quaid Morris

Quaid Morris is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of medicine and artificial intelligence. Currently serving as a Full Professor at the University of Toronto since September 2005, Quaid Morris is cross-appointed in the Donnelly Centre, with affiliations in the Departments of Molecular Genetics, Computer Science, and Electrical and Computer Engineering. Previous positions include Assistant Professor at the same institution and Associate Investigator at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research from January 2018 to January 2021. Additionally, Quaid Morris holds the position of Canada CIFAR AI Chair at the Vector Institute since October 2017. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained from 1996 to 2002, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Biology from the University of Toronto, completed from 1991 to 1996.
