Quang Trinh is a scientist at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research since September 2007, focusing on research and analysis of large-scale cancer genomics data. Prior to this role, Quang served as a postdoc and team lead at the University of Calgary from 2005 to 2007, where efforts were directed towards the development of CAVEman, a bioinformatics application for biomedical data integration and 3D visualization. Quang also held the position of Instructor I at the University of Manitoba from July 1999 to July 2001, teaching various undergraduate computer science courses. Quang Trinh earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Calgary in 2005, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba in 2001, and a Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) from the same institution in 1999.
