Dr. Michael Verbora

Dr. Michael Verbora currently serves as the Treasurer of the Fee For Service Medical Interest Group and Vice Chair of the Cannabinoid Medical Interest Group at the Ontario Medical Association, where also holds the position of OMA D11 Zone 2-North Delegate. Additionally, Dr. Verbora is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at McMaster University and a Student Health Physician at Seneca College. Past roles include Chief Medical Officer at Aleafia and Medical Director at Canabo Medical Clinic, focusing on physician training and cannabinoid research. Dr. Verbora has held various positions in family medicine, including experience as a Family Physician (Locum) and Chair of the Residents Committee at the Ontario College of Family Physicians. Dr. Verbora completed a Family Medicine Residency at the University of Toronto and earned medical and business degrees from Western University and the Odette School of Business, respectively.
