Sophie Nicholls Jones

Sophie Nicholls Jones is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in internal communications, strategic communications, and journalism. Currently serving as an Internal Communications Advisor at the Ontario Medical Association since July 2022, Sophie has previously held significant positions such as Account Director and Writer/Producer in member editorial communications. Sophie's extensive career includes roles at CPA Canada as an Associate Producer/Writer, at George Brown College as a Journalism Instructor, and at Star Metro Media as a Senior Editor, where responsibilities included managing content campaigns and collaborating with clients to produce engaging material. Additional experience encompasses positions at KMI Publishing, Metro English Canada, CJFE, IPI, Journalists for Human Rights, and Sun Media, highlighting a strong foundation in storytelling, editing, and training within various media outlets. Sophie holds a BA in Journalism from Ryerson University, along with certifications in Digital Marketing and a postgraduate degree in International Development.
