The Research and Policy Team at ONWA is dedicated to conducting comprehensive research and developing policies to advocate for the rights, well-being, and empowerment of Indigenous women and their families in Ontario. This team collaborates to address issues such as violence prevention, access to justice, health services, economic development, and cultural preservation. They work to formulate evidence-based policies and provide strategic recommendations to promote social equality, environmental stewardship, and systemic change for Indigenous communities.
