Jill Moore has extensive experience in leadership and healthcare, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors for York Region Children's Aid Society since February 2024 and is also a Labor Relations Officer, Health & Safety Chair, and Professional Responsibility Chairperson at Ontario Nurses' Association since August 2013. Moore has been an Advisory Board Member at STEMMinds since September 2018 and previously held board positions at Marquee Theatrical Productions Inc. and 360°kids. Notably, Moore served as the Bargaining Unit President for the ONA at Southlake Regional Health Centre from September 2005 to October 2022 and held various roles in clinical support and education. Moore was involved with York Region Children's Fund as Board Chair from September 2017 to June 2019, and has had multiple leadership roles within the York Region Children's Aid Society since 2007. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ryerson University and additional education from McMaster University.

The Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is a proactive union committed to improving the economic welfare and quality of work-life for our members, to enable them to provide high-quality health care. Founded in 1973, the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is the trade union that represents 60,000 registered nurses and allied health professionals working throughout Ontario, including: hospitals community health long-term care public health clinics industry Each facility represented by ONA has a Bargaining Unit President that oversees union activities within that facility. The provincial organization is divided into Locals, which is headed by a Local Coordinator. Bargaining Unit Presidents as well as Local Coordinators are ONA members, and are members' best source of information as it pertains to their facility.
