Terry McArthur serves as the Manager of Labour Relations at the Ontario Nurses' Association, a position held since November 2016, where responsibilities include advocating for 62,000 registered nurses and allied health professionals across Ontario. Prior to ONA, McArthur held senior roles in labour relations at Loblaw Companies, including Sr. Director overseeing national activities for No Frills and National Grocers Retail, from June 2007 to September 2014, and also served as Senior Director for National Grocers Retail. Earlier experience includes a Director role in Human Resources and Labour Relations at Weston Bakeries from May 1998 to June 2007. McArthur holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Toronto Mississauga and a Certificate in Human Resources/Labour Relations from Humber College.

The Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is a proactive union committed to improving the economic welfare and quality of work-life for our members, to enable them to provide high-quality health care. Founded in 1973, the Ontario Nurses’ Association (ONA) is the trade union that represents 60,000 registered nurses and allied health professionals working throughout Ontario, including: hospitals community health long-term care public health clinics industry Each facility represented by ONA has a Bargaining Unit President that oversees union activities within that facility. The provincial organization is divided into Locals, which is headed by a Local Coordinator. Bargaining Unit Presidents as well as Local Coordinators are ONA members, and are members' best source of information as it pertains to their facility.
