Hassib El Murdea

Hassib EL Murdea, P.Eng., is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Plant Technical Support Manager and Site Project Manager at Ontario Power Generation since September 2016, focusing on large hydro plant projects. Previously, Hassib held multiple roles including Reliability Compliance Lead, Commissioning Coordinator, and Site Electrical Lead Engineer at Ontario Power Generation from July 2011 to June 2015 and worked as a Senior Electrical Engineer from January 2008 to March 2009. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineering Specialist at ADWEA/Total Tractable Power Company from January 1998 to June 2001 and Senior Electrical Engineer at WED Water and Electricity Department from September 1989 to January 1998. Hassib earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Beirut Arab University between 1981 and 1985.
