Jon Franke

Jon Franke is a seasoned executive in the nuclear power industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President for the Darlington New Nuclear Project at Ontario Power Generation since June 2020. Franke has extensive experience in nuclear plant operations and leadership, having held various senior roles, including Senior Vice President at Pickering Nuclear Station and Vice President at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Throughout a career spanning several decades, Franke has been responsible for overseeing complex nuclear operations, maintenance, and safety initiatives at multiple facilities across leading energy companies. Educational credentials include a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA in Utility Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
