Jared Shafran

Jared Shafran currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Communications & Content for the Ontario Reign, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Shafran was the Director of Communications and Broadcasting for the South Carolina Stingrays from October 2016 to August 2021. Shafran's experience also includes serving as the Athletics Communications Associate at Ferris State University, where responsibilities included play-by-play broadcasting for the men's hockey team. Other roles have included Director of Media Relations and Broadcasting for the Tri-City Storm and a series of internships across various sports organizations, showcasing a strong background in sports communications and broadcasting. Shafran holds a BA in Journalism and Communications from Northeastern University.
