Tony Malfara is a CPA and a retired Senior Partner from KPMG with more than 40 years of experience providing governance, risk, control, and audit leadership. Prior to joining KPMG, Tony was well-known with numerous organizations including St. Lawrence Cement, Maple Leafs Foods, and The Gilette Company.

Tony has been an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, both at the Toronto Chapter and National levels. He has held a number of positions including a member of the Board of Governors for the Toronto Chapter, and Chair of the Advocacy and Academic Relations Committee for the Board of IIA Canada. In his capacity on the National Board of the IIA, he is responsible for expanding the academic acceptance of internal audits with the academic community and advocating for key stakeholders on the value of the profession. Tony also was a member of the North American Advocacy Committee for IIA Global. In addition, Tony presently sits on the Boards of Canadian Feed the Children.
