Currently, McGouran serves as a Community Partnerships and Events coordinator at The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, overseeing event management and social media strategies. Previous roles include Vice President of the Board of Directors at Community Researchers and Community Life Coordinator at The Meadows of Aurora, where responsibility involved developing community programs and coordinating volunteers. Additional experience encompasses community development work in Costa Rica and various roles in marketing and public relations across organizations such as Environmental Defence and Free The Children. McGouran's educational background includes degrees in Community Development and Indigenous Studies from Centennial College, along with studies at Wilfrid Laurier University.
