Melissa Kosowan

Melissa Kosowan has a diverse work experience in communications and editing. Melissa worked at Ontario SPCA as Associate Director of Communications, Acting Associate Director of Communications, and Senior Manager of Communications from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they were a Communications Coordinator at Ontario Equestrian Federation from 2012 to 2016, where they were responsible for marketing and communication materials and significantly increased the organization's social media following. Melissa also worked as an Editor at Muskoka Magazine from 2007 to 2011, where they managed multiple publications and handled various writing assignments. Melissa started their career as an Assistant Editor and Reporter/Photographer at Cottage Country Communications in 2006 and 2007 respectively.

Melissa Kosowan completed their Bachelor of Journalism degree with a minor in Mass Communications and a minor in History at Carleton University, from 2002 to 2006. Melissa then pursued a Corporate Communications Graduate Certificate at Sheridan College from 2011 to 2012.
