Adam Newton

Adam Newton, CPA, CA, currently serves as Senior Manager for Financial Reporting & Internal Controls and Senior Manager for Private Asset Operations - Funds at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since May 2017. Previously, Adam held the position of Director in Financial Analysis & Advisory, Private Markets Finance at Manulife Financial from January 2015 to April 2017. Adam's professional journey began at EY, where the role of Senior Manager in Assurance & Advisory Business Services was undertaken from September 2006 to January 2015. Adam holds a Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, obtained between 2006 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, completed in 2006.
