Monika Federau

Monika Federau is the current Director at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Monika has held this position since March of 2020. Prior to this, they were the Chief Strategy Officer at Intact Financial Corporation from May of 2010 to March of 2020. Before that, they were the Assistant Vice President, Regional Brand Development & Communications, Asia at Manulife Financial from June of 2006 to January of 2010. Additionally, Federau has also been the Group Director Engagement Management at Organic Online Canada from January of 2001 to December of 2004 and the Group Director, Marketing at lavalife.com from January of 1995 to June of 1999.

Monika Federau has a ICD.D from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a Leadership Development Program from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, an MBA in Marketing from the Smith School of Business at Queen's University, and a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science and International Relations from York University.
