Steve Walintschek

Steve Walintschek is an accomplished technology leader with a diverse background in strategic technology and data management across various industries. As the Managing Director – Head of Technology and Data at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan since November 2025, Steve drives the execution of technology strategies for portfolio companies. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer and General Manager at Slalom, where Steve advocated for innovative solutions and collaborative partnerships. At T4G Limited, leadership roles spanned Chief Technology Officer, Vice President of Intellectual Property, Director of Analytics, and Data Architect, focusing on technology strategy, analytics, and intellectual property management. Further experience includes founding CarterCom, overseeing professional services at ezWare Systems, and consulting at Infospace. Steve holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and degrees in Computer Science and Sociology from George Brown College and Carleton University, respectively.
