Ted Xiao Guo

Ted Xiao Guo's work experience includes several roles at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they have held positions such as Portfolio Manager, Managing Director, Credit; Portfolio Manager, Director, Credit; Portfolio Manager, Senior Principal, Credit; and Portfolio Manager, Principal, Credit. In these roles, they have been responsible for developing mathematical models for valuing and risking Fixed Income instruments, with a focus on credit and rates derivatives. Ted Xiao has also provided quantitative and analytical support to portfolio managers in the Fixed Income department. Additionally, Ted has worked as a Senior Quantitative Analyst in Fixed Income at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Ted Xiao has also served as a Guest Lecturer at the University of Toronto and as a Teaching Assistant for courses in Partial Differential Equations for Finance and Volatility modeling and forecasting as part of the Master of Mathematical Finance program.

Ted Xiao Guo has a strong educational background in computer science and commerce. Ted Xiao obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science with double majors in Computer Science and Commerce from the University of Toronto in 2001-2003. Ted Xiao then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same institution from 2003-2005. Additionally, in 2009, they obtained a certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) from the CFA Institute.
