Wenjun Cai

Wenjun Cai started their career as an intern at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in June 2010. After that, they worked as an intern at CIBC from May to August 2011. In February 2012, they became an Associate and later a Director of Model Vetting at CIBC until December 2017. Currently, since January 2018, Wenjun Cai holds the position of Principal of Investment Risk at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

Wenjun Cai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Fudan University. They also spent some time as a visiting student at the University of Waterloo, studying Actuarial Science, Statistics, and Finance. Later, Wenjun pursued a Master's degree in Quantitative Finance at the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Wenjun has obtained certifications including being a Candidate for Associate of Society of Actuaries (ASA) from the Society of Actuaries, being an FRM Level 2 Candidate from the GARP FRM Program, and passing all three levels of the CFA exam from the CFA Institute.
