Abir Ihsan

Abir Ihsan is a Graduate Research Assistant at Ontario Tech University, focusing on EMI filter design for GaN-based traction inverters since May 2024. In addition, Abir serves as an Electrical Engineer at Turnkey Aquaponics and has held multiple roles at Ontario Tech Racing, including Electronics Designer and team member for Embedded Systems and Telemetry. Previous experience includes working as a Systems Integration and Test Automation Engineer at Tesla, a Hardware Engineer at Gatik, and an On-call and Test Engineering Intern at Celestica. Early career experience includes a Production Associate role at Honda of Canada Mfg. Abir is pursuing a MASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ontario Tech University, expected to complete by August 2026, following a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
