Bill Praamsma

Bill Praamsma is an accomplished professional in the field of economics and public policy, currently serving as the Director of the Personal Tax Policy and Design Branch and the Director of the Labour Economics Branch at Ontario Finance since March 2017. With extensive experience in various roles within the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities from 2006 to 2017, including positions as Director of the Research and Planning Branch and Project Director for the University Funding Formula Project, Bill also served as a Senior Policy Advisor at York University and as a Senior Financial Planning Analyst for the City of Toronto. Bill Praamsma began their career at Ontario Finance as an Economist/Special Policy Advisor and Executive Assistant from 2001 to 2005. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Guelph and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Queen's University.
