Piotr Róg

CEO, Founder & Core Developer at Onteon Tech

Piotr Róg is the CEO, founder, and core developer at Onteon Tech. Piotr has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on Java development and application management. Piotr began their career as a software developer at Bank BPH in 2003. Piotr quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a project team leader at Asseco Poland just four years later. In 2007, Piotr left Bank BPH to join Asseco Poland as a software developer. Piotr spent the next two years with Asseco before moving to Alior Bank S.A. in September 2008.

At Alior, Piotr served as a software developer and application team manager for seven years. During their time with the company, they were responsible for developing code and managing one of the largest teams in the IT division. It was during their time at Alior that the idea for a microservices platform was born. In August 2011, Piotr was promoted to Application Architecture Director, a position they held until leaving the company in April 2015.

Piotr founded Onteon Tech in May 2015. The company specializes in developing microservices platforms for enterprises. Under Piotr's leadership, Onteon Tech has grown rapidly, serving clients all over the world.

Piotr Róg has an engineer's degree in computer science from Politechnika Krakowska im. Tadeusza Kościuszki and a bachelor's degree in investments from Uniwersytet Ekonomiczny w Krakowie.
