Roland Nagel

Roland Nagel has over 20 years of work experience in the scientific field. Roland began their career in 2001 as a Post Doctoral Research Scientist at UCSC. Roland then moved to AppliedBiosystems in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Scientist. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Staff Scientist at Life Technologies. Roland then worked as a Staff Scientist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they became a Principal Scientist at Roche Sequencing Solutions, and in 2017 they were promoted to Senior Scientific Manager at Ontera.

Roland Nagel completed a CIRM Post Doctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2005 to 2007, focusing on Stem Cell Differentiation and RNA processing. Prior to that, they completed a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the same university from 2001 to 2005, focusing on RNA processing.
