Bret Hanson

Bret Hanson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Bret currently works as a Program Manager at Onto Innovation since February 2023. Prior to this, from October 2020 to February 2023, Bret served as a Program Manager at Brooks Automation where they led various projects related to manufacturing process improvement, product re-designs, and manufacturing relocation. Bret also served as a Supply Chain Program Manager at Brooks Automation from April 2020 to September 2020.

From March 2018 to January 2020, Bret worked as the Director of Logistics at Johnson Controls where they directed the development and implementation of global logistics strategies. Bret also served as an Associate Director, Commodity Management at Johnson Controls from March 2014 to March 2018, where they led the Tyco global logistics sourcing team.

Before joining Johnson Controls, Bret worked at Raytheon from June 2008 to March 2014. During this time, they held various roles including Warehouse Manager, Sr. Logistics Analyst, and member of the Supply Chain LDP. In these roles, Bret led warehousing operations, drove enterprise-wide improvements to logistics and transportation, and was involved in company-wide projects such as deploying the first TMS system.

Bret's early career began at Purdue University, where they worked as a Web Program, Database Administrator, and Project Manager from August 2002 to May 2007.

Bret Hanson has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and another Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Purdue University. Additionally, Bret completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Purdue University Daniels School of Business. Bret also holds a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which was obtained in March 2023.
