Krishna Kuchibhotla

Krishna Kuchibhotla is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience in semiconductor metrology and optical system design. Currently serving as Principal Optical Engineer at Onto Innovation since December 2016, responsibilities include the design, analysis, development, testing, and sustaining of optical components for semiconductor metrology systems. Prior roles include Senior Optical Engineer at Checkpoint Technologies, where system designs focused on confocal laser scanning and photon emission microscopy for the semiconductor industry, and Staff Optical Engineer at Coherent, Inc., where innovative beam shapers for high-power laser systems were developed. Earlier experience at Anvik Corporation involved leading engineering efforts on microlithography systems, while foundational design work for military applications occurred at the Instruments R&D Establishment in India. Krishna holds a Ph.D. in Optical Engineering and an M.Tech. in Applied Optics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
