Walid Elias Hatoum

Walid Elias Hatoum serves as the Vice President and Head of Global Quality at Onto Innovation since January 2022, leading the corporate quality vision and strategy with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Prior experience includes roles at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from 2015 to 2021, where responsibilities encompassed process integration, yield engineering, and customer support. Walid transitioned to GLOBALFOUNDRIES from IBM during its acquisition of IBM's Microelectronics Division, where significant contributions were made to quality strategy and yield improvement from 1988 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the American University of Beirut.
