Carlos Cruz

Carlos Cruz has held various roles throughout their work experience. Carlos started their career as a Software Engineer at Ficachi y Asociados, S.C. in 2007. Carlos then worked as an IT Specialist at Tiburon Software, s.a. de c.v. from 2009 to 2011. Carlos later joined Clear Channel Outdoor as an IT Coordinator & Tech Lead for the SmartBike Division from 2011 to 2013. Carlos then moved on to Códice, where they served as a Tech Lead and later as an Engineering Manager from 2013 to 2016. After that, Carlos co-founded SOMOS and held the position of Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer from 2016 to 2018. Carlos then became the Chief Technology Officer at Yave from 2018 to 2020. Following that, Carlos joined Pagaloop as Chief Technology Officer (YC W21) from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Technology at Ontop, starting in 2021 and later being promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer in July 2022.
