Pavel Mihaylov

Pavel Mihaylov has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pavel currently works at Ontotext AD as the GraphDB Product Manager/Owner since 2008. In their current role, Pavel is transitioning to a Product Owner/Manager position for GraphDB, where they focus on the grand vision and detail of the product. Pavel engages with stakeholders at multiple levels and still retains some duties as an architect and technical lead. Pavel also writes code, although they try to minimize their involvement in coding tasks.

Before joining Ontotext AD, Pavel worked as a Research Assistant at NTNU in 2007, where they continued working on a project called TypeCraft. Prior to that, they briefly served as a Software Developer at Businesscape AS in 2007. Pavel's earlier work experience includes working as a Senior System Administrator at Ancient Media OOD from 2002 to 2003, and at Spectrum Net from 2001 to 2002.

Pavel Mihaylov obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Tübingen from 2003 to 2007. Pavel also completed an exchange program at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), although the specific dates and degree obtained are not provided. In addition, Pavel obtained a Product Management Certificate from the UC Berkeley Executive Education program in February 2023.
