Tom Finill

Tom Finill has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. In their current role as a Principal Engineer at Ontruck since 2020, they focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's automatic routing service. Tom also administers Kubernetes and associated infrastructure using tools like Helm, Terraform, and Jenkins. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2020, Tom worked as a Software Engineer at Kalo. Before that, they were employed by Fidessa as a Data Architect and later as a Trading Platform Engineer, where they collaborated with customers to make changes and optimize the European Trading Platform software. Tom also has experience as a Technical Consultant at Hewlett-Packard, where they worked on implementing and optimizing the company's IDOL search engine software.

Tom Finill completed their undergraduate education at the University of Warwick from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a degree in Mathematics with Erasmus Year. After a few years, they pursued further education by attending Birkbeck, University of London from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Tom also obtained certifications in various subjects. In 2015, they completed the "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 2" program offered by Coursera, and received a certification from the institution. In the same year, they also earned an "edX Honor Code Certificate for Artificial Intelligence" from edX. Prior to that, in 2015, Tom had already completed the "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" course provided by Coursera, and obtained a certification for this as well.
