Darren McKeen

Darren McKeen has an extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Darren is currently serving as an Engineering Manager at onXmaps, Inc., starting in May 2023. Before this, they worked at Workiva from 2016 to 2023, holding various positions such as Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Product Development Manager, Product Development Manager, and Senior Technical Writer. Prior to Workiva, Darren worked as the Director of Knowledge Management at Return Path from 2014 to 2016, and as a Technical Documentation Manager at Advanced Energy from 2012 to 2014. Darren also served as the North American Manager of Technical Documentation at Vestas from 2010 to 2012, the Director of Technical Communications at ColdSpark from 2006 to 2010, and the Training & Documentation Manager at West Safety Services from 2002 to 2006.

Darren McKeen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Journalism/Technical Writing from Colorado State University. Darren has also completed Master-level courses in Instructional & Performance Technology at Boise State University. Additionally, they have taken Master-level courses in Leadership Development Program at the University of Denver, specifically at the Daniels College of Business.
