Rachael McInnes

Rachael McInnes currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Onya Therapeutics, overseeing operational leadership and strategic decision-making since June 2021. Previously, Rachael held the position of Chief Scientific Officer at Onya Therapeutics Ltd, where responsibilities included managing investor relations and establishing collaborations to drive the development of treatments for wet and infected wounds. Rachael's earlier experience includes project management roles at Scapa Healthcare and Acelity, as well as project leadership at Systagenix Wound Management Manufacturing, where project initiation and product development were key responsibilities. Rachael began a career at Johnson & Johnson, progressing from Research and Development Scientist to Technical Leader. Rachael earned a PhD in Wound Care from Cardiff University and holds a BS in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Bradford.
