Steve Hanna has extensive experience in aerospace and defense, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Senior Engineer at Onyx Aerospace since December 2015. Previous roles include Visiting Research Fellow at the National Defense University's Center for Technology and National Security Policy from June 2016 to September 2017, and various positions at NASA, including Deputy Program Executive for the Space Launch System (SLS) and Propulsion Engineer. Steve also held a Program Manager role at the Air Force Research Laboratory from July 2001 to October 2008. Steve Hanna earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University and completed training at the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2008.
