Chris Klaftenegger

Chris Klaftenegger has extensive work experience spanning across various industries such as aviation, medical, and business development. Chris started their career with the California Air National Guard in 2005 as a Pararescue Recovery Team Leader and worked there until 2014. Chris worked as a Rescue Specialist and Paramedic for CHI Aviation, Inc. from 2014 to 2015 and then as a SAR Medic for Vighter medical group LLC from April 2015 to September 2015. In September 2015, Chris became PSS/ERT Medic for SOC LLC until November 2016. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Medical instructor for Tier 1 Group LLC. In 2017, Chris joined SWORD International Inc. as the Director of Government Programs, Business & Product Development. Later that year, they worked as a Business Development Executive for Assured Outcomes Group Inc. where they worked until 2022. Recently, Chris joined Onyx Industries as the Chief Operating Officer in April 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Project Consultant for Aerofusion in March 2022 and was in the same position for Klaf Industries from March 2021 to September 2022.

Chris Klaftenegger began their education with the United States Navy as a Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (SARC) from 1998 to 2004. Chris went on to attend paramedic school and became a National Registered Paramedic in 2001. Chris furthered their education with the US Air Force Pararescue program from 2005 to 2014, specializing in Pararescueman. Chris attended several courses in search and rescue, including Tactical Confined Space Rescue Technician, Rope Rescue Technician, and Tactical Structural Collapse Rescue with ROCO Rescue in 2006 and 2007. In 2009, Klaftenegger graduated from the US Coast Guard Advanced Rescue Swimmer Course, specializing in Helicopter Rescue. Chris also completed the Avalanche Rescue 1 course through the American Avalanche Institute in 2013. Klaftenegger attended Excelsior University from 2014 to 2018, studying Pre-PA. Additionally, they obtained a Paramedic certification from the National Registry in March 2001.
