Andres Marchant

Andres Marchant has over 10 years of work experience in the engineering and energy industry. Andres is currently working as a Senior Engineering Consultant at ONYX Insight since June 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Energy Performance Consultant at BayWa r.e. renewable energy GmbH from the start of 2018 until May 2020. Before that, they held the position of Energy Consultant at Tata Steel from June 2017 to May 2018. Andres also has experience as a Project Manager at MAINT Cía. Ltda. where they were responsible for adopting and applying technical and quality strategies, developing clients' needs, and managing and controlling projects. Additionally, they worked as a Project Engineer at POSCO from 2009 to 2014.

Andres Marchant completed their education in various institutions and fields of study. In 2005, they obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE. From 2009 to 2010, they pursued a major in Engineering - MEng at the Royal Military College of Canada/Collège militaire royal du Canada. Additionally, Andres obtained a Research Energy and Environmental Science Master degree in Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources from the University of Groningen between 2015 and 2017. Andres also holds several certifications, which include MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Service Communication Applications, MCTS: .NET Framework 4, Web Applications from Microsoft, Cisco CCP1 from Cisco, and the Dive Master certification from PADI.
