Teodosio Del Caño has over 20 years of work experience. From 2000 to 2004, they were a Visiting Researcher at the University of Windsor, where they developed new products of special technological interest, performed technical and economical feasibility analysis of Li batteries, and developed new porous material for hydrogen storage. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Innovation Projects Director at the Advanced Centre for Science and Innovation, where they designed new products and PV technology processes, and developed optoelectronic prototypes. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Technological Consultant at GESTINVER Consultores, where they prospected R&D projects for large enterprises, managed R&D taxes, grants, and technological inspection. From 2007 to 2009, they were the Wafers Factory Director, Solar Cells Factory Technological Responsible, and R&D Coordinator at Pevafersa, where they managed large manufacturing projects and PV production projects. Finally, from 2009 to present, they have been the Chief Technical Officer at Onyx Solar Energy, where they are responsible for all business units, manages big projects from negotiation to contract signing, and manages teams in the technical area.

Teodosio Del Caño obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Universidad de Valladolid between 1994 and 1999. Subsequently, they obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) from the Atomic Physics department at Valladolid University in 1999. Finally, they completed their Ph.D in Physics from University of Windsor and Valladolid University between 1999 and 2004, with a focus on new materials for PV devices in the Condensed Matter Physics Department.
