Gary Baker

Gary Baker has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, primarily in the paper industry. Gary started their career at Dexter Corporation in 1990, where they served as the Director of Sales and Marketing until 1999. From there, they joined Mead Specialty Papers as the Director of Marketing, a position they held until 2002. After that, they were the Vice President of Marketing at FiberMark from 2002 to 2004. Following their tenure at FiberMark, Gary worked as the Director of Marketing at Meadwestvaco Papers Group from 2004 to 2009. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at Onyx Specialty Papers, Inc., a role they have been in since 2009.

Gary Baker attended Hazel Park High School from 1976 to 1978. Gary then enrolled at Eastern Michigan University from 1978 to 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Gary returned to Eastern Michigan University from 1982 to 1985, studying Interdisciplinary Technology with a focus on Polymers and Coatings Technology and earning another Bachelor of Science degree. In 1994 to 1995, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, although the degree earned and their field of study during this period are unspecified.
