Aamir Farooq

Aamir Farooq is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting. Currently serving as Financial Controller at OO Group since January 2024, Aamir previously held the position of Finance Manager at HONOR from February 2021 to September 2023, focusing on channel finance, tax management, forecasting, budget management, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS. Prior roles include Finance Manager and Assistant Finance Manager at Huawei Technologies, where Aamir was responsible for budgeting, performance evaluation, and strategic financial meetings. Aamir's early career includes positions as Assistant Accountant at Sundial Construction Ltd and Kbm Chartered Firm, and a Trainee Assistant Accountant at FSPG, where foundational skills in accounting and compliance were developed. Aamir holds a BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and is a finalist in the ACCA qualification program.
