Ebony Kara (Beaton)

Ebony Kara (Beaton) has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and media. Ebony is currently serving as the Head of Communications & Change Strategy at oOh! since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Telstra from 2016 to 2023, holding roles such as Senior Strategic Communications Manager and Senior Communications Manager. From 2014 to 2016, Ebony was the Managing Director of Ebony Plus Ivory Communications, their own freelance external and internal communications consultancy. Ebony has also worked at organizations like ninemsn, where they served as the Internal Communications Manager from 2011 to 2014, and City of Sydney, where they were a Senior Media Officer in 2011. Ebony also has experience working at City of Melbourne, Public Transport Victoria, and Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Corporation in various communication and media roles.
