Ahmad Al-Rifai

Ahmad Al-Rifai has a total of 12 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry, starting in 2010 as a Radio Planning Engineer at 3GIS. Ahmad then worked as an RAN System Engineer and was responsible for validating existing RAN features and parameters. In 2012, they joined Ericsson and worked in various roles including Multi-Standard RAN Engineer, RAN Performance & Optimization Engineer, LTE RAN Optimization Lead, and Technical Solutions-Sales Manager. Their responsibilities included leading network design & optimization pre-sales, responding to RFIs/RFPs, and engaging with mobile operators to promote Ericsson's latest portfolio in optimization services. In 2021, they worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at Telia and in 2022, they joined Ookla as a Technical Account Manager for the Nordics.

Ahmad Al-Rifai earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology in 2007, followed by a Master's degree in Wireless Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2009. Ahmad also obtained two certifications from Ericsson, including the Ericsson Certified Associate - RAN Design in August 2017 and the Ericsson Certified Associate - RAN Optimization in August 2016.
